Palm Leaf Cross

I have been making these palm leaf crosses for the last few years come Palm Sunday & Easter time. I have written out directions and have also made a  YOUTUBE VIDEO below to help explain. Enjoy & let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

P.S. These can also be made with PAPER! --> Much easier for doing at Sunday school.

Here's a video of the same steps as the pictures below (I am a visual learner so I figured lots of other people are that way)

1. Find the middle point, and fold up to make a 90 degree angle.

2. Fold that same piece towards the back and down 

3. Fold that same piece up

4. Take piece to the left that you haven't moved yet and fold over to the opposite side

5. Turn over and take the same piece you just folded and push it through the pocket. Pull it all the way through so it should have a little corner that stands on its own.

      

6. Take the same piece and push it though to make the cross part of the cross. Push that end back into it so you have a loop on each side.

      

7. Take the long piece of the cross and push it through the pocket in the backside and pull through until you have a loop at the top to the size you wish.

      

TA-DA! If you had a hard time reading my directions, I tried my hardest, but also made a VIDEO below that should help since this is one of those things that needs to be seen rather than just read. After practicing a couple times you will get it!
