I wanted to celebrate baseball season with this adorable baseball hat pattern (available in 5 sizes). I made this one a few years back as a photo prop. Materials:
I crochet Hook
Worsted Weight (4-medium weight) Yarn
Abbreviation Guide:
St = Stitch
Sl st = Slip Stitch
DC = Double Crochet
Ch = Chain
RD = Round
SC = Single Crochet
How to read this pattern:
This pattern is worked in rounds, each round is joined with a slip stitch.

Instructions:
With White:
Ch 4, sl st in 1st ch to make a ring
RD 1: Ch 2, dc 12 into ring
RD 2: Ch 2, 2dc in each st around
RD 3: Ch 2, dc in same st, *1dc in next st, 2dc in next st* repeat
around
RD 4: Ch 2, dc in same st, *1dc in next 11 sts, 2dc in next*
repeat around
RD 5-11: Ch 2, dc in same st & 1 dc in each st around
RD 12: 1 sc in each st around
Tie off & Weave in ends.
With Red:
Use tapestry needle to add the little “V” shapes as shown in the
photos above. (This will take some practice so be ready to do it a couple times)
