I was looking for different things that would work to make crosses out of for crafts for sunday school, and I think I hit the jackpot. Who doesn't have a stash of paper towel and toilet paper rolls?! I went ahead and made a cross with a hot glue gun and some hemp.Of course, you can decorate it any way you wish! I just liked the rustic look with the hemp wrapped around.
This would be a GREAT idea for an easy preschool-any age Sunday School or Easter Craft!

You could always hot glue them together before class and have the kiddos decorate to take full advantage of that short time you do get to spend on this craft! :)
You will be using a paper towel roll and two toilet paper rolls.
I used a hot glue gun and attached the two toilet paper rolls to the sides of the paper towel roll as shown in the pictures.
You can use many things to decorate the cross such as:
Buttons
Pom Poms
Felt
Stickers
Paint
Hemp
Rocks
and MORE!
I just wrapped mine with hemp and then added it to my Easy Easter Tomb Craft.
Hope you enjoy this post and check out my post on Easy Cross & Religious Crafts!
