How to Freeze Blackberries

How many of you see extremely good sales on berries and wonder how much you can eat before they go bad? That's how I always thought until blackberries went on sale for .75 CENTS! They are usually about 2.50. This was a cause for learning how to freeze them so that I could use them for smoothies down the road.

1. Rinse/wash them

2. Lay flat to dry

3. Place wax paper or caran wrap on a cookie sheet & freeze a few hours. (make sure they aren't touching so they won't freeze in clumps)

4. Remove from cookie sheet once frozen firm & move to a ziploc bag

5. When you go to get some, they come out individually, they WON'T stick together, YAY!! :D
