As Easter is approaching, I have been considering different crafts that would be cute to do with kiddos. This egg carton cross is a cute and very easy craft to make for Easter Sunday, Sunday School, or any other occasion. These can be decorated any way you wish. Today was another craft day with my lovely friend Michelle!

Toddlers - Color with markers?
Children - paint and decorate with ribbon, jewels, buttons, etc.
The first thing I did was cut out one row of the egg caron and count how many holes there were. Mine was 6 long. Then cut one smaller that will go across. I decided to go with 3 wide.
Next you will put the smaller length across the top of the middle. I had to trim mine a little to it would sit flat. It is now done, all that's left to do is decorate!
I decorated mine a couple different ways as you can see below :)

The middle one was just tied with a simple ribbon after painting. The two side pictures were taken after putting a nest in the middle and adding some letters for WWJD (What Would Jesus Do).
The nest was made from thick hemp on the bottom, painted acorns from my friend Michelle, and thin hemp around the top and sides.
Check out my friend Michelle's craft using the same acorns here!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!!
