Let's get started!

Step 1: Make sure you WASH your cloth diapers & flannel fabric. You will need to iron the cloth diapers after you wash them.

Step 2: Measure the middle part of the cloth diaper that you want to cover (it is thicker than the sides) The middle part of my cloth diaper measured 17 3/4 inches x 4 inches. IMPORTANT: You need to add an inch to each side for the flannel fabric for the seam allowance (mine measured 18 3/4 x 5 inches)

Now, fold each side under 1/2 an inch on each side and iron.

Step 3: Pin the flannel fabric to the middle of the burp cloth and sew on top all the way around with matching thread (or a different color fabric for a contrast)

That's it, enjoy your AWESOME new burp cloth. You can also add a strip of ribbon to the edges of the flannel for an extra-cute touch! Here's a picture of my burp cloth all finished! :) I know these are going to be so perfect for baby shower gifts.
