If you have a Kroger store near you, read up on this! They have Mega Sales about once a month at the grocery stores where you can buy 5 participating items and save $5 instantly (you have to buy in increments of 5 to get the deal)...then you can use coupons on top of that $1 per item you have already saved! I have only tried paper and printable coupons, not sure about digital coupons.

NOTE: You do not have to buy 5 of the same items, just buy in increments of 5 for the items that have the mega sale sticker (for example, if they are all in the mega sale you can buy: 2 Skippy Peanut Butters, 2 Kettle chips, and one Gillette Shave Gel) and you will save $1 on EACH ITEM since you bought 5 participating items.
