Did you know you can make peanut butter cups from chocolate chips and a tub of peanut butter?
Does anyone else have extreme peanut butter and chocolate cravings during "that time" of the month?
These are SO easy and super delicious!
What you need:
-Cupcake/Muffin Liners
-Chocolate Chips
-Peanut Butter
Step 1
Pour some chocolate chips into a bowl (melt for about a minute, stir, add another 30 seconds if necessary)
Step 2
Pour a thin layer of chocolate into the liner
Step 3
Add a scoop of peanut butter and spread evenly on top of the layer of melted chocolate
Step 4
Add some more chocolate onto the top of the peanut butter layer (But make sure you don't fill it too full)
Step 5
Place the liner(s) onto a plate and place in the freezer uncovered for a couple hours until it hardens. (I left mine in overnight because I made it at night)
Step 6
You can either leave the peanut butter cup in the freezer, fridge, or even on the counter. My favorite is keeping it in the fridge so that the peanut butter is still firm but the chocolate isn't as hard as they get while in the freezer.
Step 7
Enjoy!! :D These are soooo yummy if I may say so myself. I love that you can use any type and brand of chocolate when you make it yourself. Also, you can make them as thick or thin as you would like them to be. Great party ideas, movie night, family game night treats! Inexpensive and fun to make!
Have you made these before? What other yummy easy peanut butter treats have you made? Leave some ideas/alterations/etc. in the comments below!
Have a wonderful day, eat something yummy today!
