This easy Earth Day craft is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, or any age! It is made from a coffee filter, washable markers, and spray bottle. What as simple and adorable way to supplement an Earth Day Activity. They could also be used teaching about the earth, solar system activities, easy spring crafts and more!
This craft was inspired by the activity that my Master Teacher Mrs. Downing planned for us to teach while I was student teaching. She's awesome!
What you will need:
Spray bottle with water
Coffee filter
Green & Blue Washable Markers
Have children draw the land masses in green first, and then color the water in around the land.
Next, take these outside and spray them down with some water. Lay flat to dry either outside or inside on a scratch piece of paper.
When your earth has finished drying, it will look like this! How awesome is this? I absolutely love how these turn out.
There you have it! An easy Earth Day craft made from a coffee filter, Enjoy!
